Mortgage House of Australia have stepped up and laid the foundations for what looks to be a stellar season for three time Australian Litre Sprintcar Champion Sean Barnett, becoming the team’s major sponsor for the 2010/11 season.
Sean Barnett Racing will campaign the entire Australian Lightning Sprint championship series, with Barnett also heading across the Tasman to New Zealand to campaign a Mini Sprint for Drever Motorsport.
The NZ drive will be Barnett’s first tilt at international motorsport and represents an exciting time for both he, and new major sponsor Mortgage House, who will be seen on the cars in both countries.
“I thought I was dreaming when I was asked to drive in New Zealand,” Barnett said.
“In all my life of racing I never thought in my division of speedway that this would ever happen to me. To win an Australian Title is huge, but to race in another country and carry an Australian Flag is massive.”
The team would like to thank Managing Director and CEO of Mortgage House of Australia, Ken Sayer, and his fantastic team of staff, for their support in the upcoming season.
