What I Need To Refinance My Mortgage?

Once you have decided to refinance your mortgage, you will need to gather together the necessary documents. Use this checklist to make sure you have everything you require before you kick start the process to ensure a quick and efficient mortgage refinance.

For example, birth certificate, current passport, driver's licence, credit card showing your name or Medicare card

Application or valuation fee

Payment details of where you want to pay fees from

Loan statements

Loan statement for the past 6 to 12 months

Salary Information (PAYG)

Group Certificates or tax returns from the past two years plus three recent payslips or a letter from your employer stating your annual gross income, your term of employment and year-to-date salary

Self-Employed

If you are a sole trader, you will need personal tax returns from the past two years and your ATO Notice of Assessment.

If you run a business, you will need your personal tax returns for two years plus tax returns for your business for the past three years

Solicitor/conveyancer details

Details of any professional service acting on your behalf
