I prepared an email to Vince Coco the Manager of Mortgage House Wyong about my desperate financial situation. I had at that point managed to accrue roughly $55,000 worth of credit card debit across five different banks and credit cards. I was always struggling to pay the minimum payment each month and when I did I would immediately take the payment back out as cash in ORDER TO EAT and thus be over the credit limit on the cards. For that I am forever in his debt. By July 2010 after much work on the part of Vince and the Mortgage House team I was given approval for a new mortgage and loan for my credit cards. Understandably the second loan for the credit cards was required to show I could display sound financial management skills. My monthly repayments were cut down from $2800 a month to $1,800 such a huge saving. I am proud to say now after six months of good financial behaviour I have been able to merge my two loans into the one mortgage payment and save a further $420 each month. My financial position has improved in the past 10 months by $2,220 a month which is truly remarkable and I am forever in the debt of Vince Coco for this. This week it has been an awesome feeling to know I am debt free apart from my mortgage which is a part of life like breathing, the mortgage is also a investment in my future were the awful credit cards were going to ultimately kill me financially. One added bonus has been that the settlement of this new and final mortgage my last mortgage payment was returned and I was given an extra $500 this week.
