Mortgage House Strategy and Vision
Our strategy is aimed at building deep and enduring customer relationships such
that customers stay with us, conduct more business with us and recommend us to
others. We seek to meet our customers financial and wealth needs and earn all
of their business. A key element of this approach is our service philosophy
which enables us to appeal to a broader range of customers.
In implementing this strategy, we seek to grow customer numbers with a specific
focus on wealth and insurance cross sell. At the same time, we seek to build
long-term customer relationships whilst maintaining high levels of customer
We also have a continued focus on streamlining and simplifying our business, to
improve the quality of experience for customers.
Career and development
At Mortgage House there are many opportunities for career development. We have
roles that range from Sales, Risk, Legal, Administration, Finance, IT, Customer
Service and Marketing. We encourage our people to develop their own career
paths and interests while receiving support from their Manager along with
access to online development tools and resources.
Training and development
We believe strongly in continual training for our people, that's why we've
developed The Mortgage House Academy, a virtual and classroom learning
environment which helps deliver a wide range of training modules and resources.
We also support the pursuit of external qualifications through further study,
which can help pay for tuition and books if you're studying toward a
qualification relevant to your role.
Mortgage House operates as a part of a Registered Training Organisation that
provides opportunities for internal training and recognition on the Australian
Qualifications Training framework. Training recognised and completed in this
framework is eligible for Australia-wide qualifications and may also qualify
for government funding.
